Bloom's Taxonomy

There are six levels within the cognitive domain:
1. Knowledge: Remembering previously learned material and recalling facts
2. Comprehension: Comprehends the facts, not just recalls them
3. Application: Uses rules, methods, theories, laws to transfer and solve problems
4. Analysis: Breaks information down into parts and identifies relationships between the parts. Draws conclusions and supports with evidence.
5. Synthesis: Invention, combining elements into a creative new whole
6. Evaluation: Makes and expresses judgement, value or worth in terms of defined criteria or standards
